You know I feel the shards
underneath your skin

but where do I begin

that bitter taste
is suddenly sweet
frozen solid
but I can't stand the heat

reason seems logical
until logic is reasoned with
it turns out you find out
that reason was just a myth

it all just figures
until you figure it all out
so you give in to give up
and learn that its best to doubt

but it really means nothing
you just have to accept
that there are always exceptions
you have to except
